Our History

We have been serving Central Valley California for over 25 years. Our mission has remained the same: to help our communities by providing exceptional treatment to our family members, friends, neighbors, and more.

We offer three primary levels of care: Residential, Outpatient, and Partial, which is a hybrid of inpatient and outpatient care. To determine the right type of treatment for you, browse our options on the location page or give us a call.

Our founder

Cary Quashen, CEO and founder of Action Family Rehab (formerly Action Family Counseling), is a nationally renowned expert in the Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment field.

Cary himself has maintained continuous sobriety through a “one day at a time” approach since December 25, 1980. He has since dedicated his life to helping troubled teens, dysfunctional families, and individuals suffering from SUDs.

Today, Cary plays an integral and active part in the Action Family Rehab programs and works with the Action Family treatment team on a daily basis.
